Impersonate a tenant admin

Sign in as a tenant admin without their password — for debugging.

Status

Impersonation is on the roadmap. Currently not available.

Workaround

For now, to debug as a tenant:

• Visit their library subdomain
• "Open back office" button from their detail page in super-admin
• You're signed in as YOUR super_admin account with full admin equivalent
• See what they see

Future feature

When available, impersonation will:

• Let you sign in as a specific patron or staff user
• Mark all actions as "Performed by impersonation: {your name}"
• Be auditable (impersonation events logged)
• Be revocable mid-session

Why we don't have it yet

Impersonation is a privacy-sensitive feature. We're building it with strict audit and consent controls to avoid accidental misuse.
