Create a library manually

When to bypass self-signup.

Create a library directly from the super-admin console (skip the self-signup flow).

Where

Super-admin → Libraries → New Library

When to use

  • A customer wants to skip the trial and go straight to a paid plan
  • You're setting up a beta tester
  • Migration from another system where you're recreating the org

Fields

  • Library name
  • Subdomain (slug)
  • Admin first/last name
  • Admin email
  • Plan (Starter, Community, Custom)
  • Subscription status (trialing, active)

What happens

  • The library is created
  • The admin gets an invite email
  • They set their password and sign in
  • The library is ready

Skipping the invite email

Check "Don't send invite" — useful for testing. You'll need to manually share the URL with the admin.

Setting a custom trial length

  • Default: 7 days
  • Override: pick a date in "Trial ends"

Setting a custom plan

For Custom (Enterprise) plans, set the price and features in the library's billing settings after creation.
