Force-expire a tenant's trial

Force a tenant's trial to expire — for testing the paywall flow.

Where

Super-admin → Libraries → click a library → Settings → Force expire trial

What it does

Sets the library's trial_ends_at to a date in the past. Subscription_status flips to "expired". The paywall activates immediately.

Why you'd do this

• Testing the paywall UX before shipping a change
• Debugging a tenant's paywall complaint
• Forcing a stuck trial to expire

Reverting

• Reset trial: Edit → Subscription Status → Trialing, Trial Ends → pick a future date
• Or add a payment method to flip to Active

Patron impact

Their patron-facing site immediately shows the paywall. Refresh and you see it. Admins can still sign in and access billing.

Caution

Don't use on real tenants without warning them. They will see the paywall and may panic.
