Edit or rename a library

Change a library's name, subdomain, or other top-level settings.

Where

Super-admin → Libraries → click a library → Settings

What you can edit

• Library name
• Subdomain (slug)
• Custom domain
• Plan
• Subscription status
• Trial end date

Renaming the library

Just edit the name field. Takes effect immediately on the patron-facing site and emails.

Changing the subdomain

• Edit the slug
• The new subdomain is active immediately
• The old subdomain stops working (no auto-redirect by default)
• All patron bookmarks need updating

Changing the plan

• Pick the new plan
• Charge difference is handled immediately by Stripe
• Patron count and book count are validated against new plan limits

Changing subscription status

• Trialing → Active: starts billing immediately
• Active → Cancelled: schedules cancellation at end of period
• Any → Expired: triggers the paywall

Audit log

Every change is logged. Super-admin → Activity Log shows all super-admin actions.
