Bring a paused or cancelled library back online.
How
Sign in at yourname.tryshelfwise.com/auth/login. The paywall screen has a "Set up billing" button.
Settings → Billing → Add payment method → complete Stripe Checkout. Your subscription starts immediately and the paywall lifts.
What's restored
Everything is exactly where you left it:
- Patrons, families, accounts
- Books, copies, loans, holds, bookmarks
- Branding (logo, colour, banner)
- Settings, email templates, custom genres
- Loan and circulation history
Nothing is rebuilt. Patrons can sign in and pick up mid-loan.
What if my admin can't sign in?
If the original admin's email is no longer accessible, contact hello@tryshelfwise.com from the email associated with the library. We'll help verify ownership and reset access.
How long does data stay?
By default we keep your data for at least 90 days after cancellation. Long-paused libraries may be moved to slower storage but are still recoverable. If you want a guarantee of indefinite retention or a guarantee of full deletion, email us.
Picking up at a new plan
You can pick a different plan when resubscribing. The cheapest path back is Starter ($19/month). Upgrade later from Settings → Billing if you need more capacity.
Welcome back
We send a "Welcome back" email when you reactivate, and we'll proactively reach out a few days later to make sure everything's working.
