Set your library's logo, name, and color
How branding from settings flows into the front-end.
Your logo, library name, and brand colour appear everywhere patrons see your library — the hero banner, every email, the back office, and even the placeholder colour for books without cover images.
Setting your library name
Settings → Appearance → Library Name. This appears in:
- The hero banner on your catalogue homepage
- The browser tab title
- Every email sent to patrons
- The footer ("YOUR LIBRARY · Powered by Shelfwise")
Changes take effect immediately.
Uploading your logo
Settings → Appearance → Logo → Choose File
Requirements:
- PNG or SVG (transparent background preferred)
- Square or near-square aspect ratio (we display at 64×64 in the hero)
- 512×512 or larger recommended for sharp display on retina screens
- Maximum 5MB
After upload, the logo appears in:
- The hero banner (top-left corner)
- The back office sidebar
- The favicon (browser tab icon)
- Patron emails (header)
Choosing your brand colour
Settings → Appearance → Brand Colour. Pick one of 8 presets or paste a custom hex code.
The colour appears in:
- The back office sidebar background
- The hero banner overlay (unless you set a custom hero colour)
- Generic placeholder gradients (book covers without images)
- The Book of the Month panel
- Email accents
Removing branding
- Remove the logo: Settings → Appearance → Logo → Remove
- Reset the brand colour: Settings → Appearance → Brand Colour → Reset to default
