Reset your password

From the login page or inside the portal.

Reset your password if you've forgotten it or want to change it.

Forgotten password

  • On the sign-in page, click "Forgot password"
  • Enter your email
  • Check your inbox for a reset link
  • Click the link → enter new password
  • Sign in

Reset link

The reset link is valid for 1 hour. After that, request a new one.

From inside the portal

  • Portal → Account settings → Change password
  • Enter current password
  • Enter new password
  • Save

Password requirements

  • Minimum 8 characters
  • We recommend a mix of upper, lower, numbers, symbols
  • No requirements beyond minimum length

Stuck without access

If you can't access the email associated with your account:

  • Contact your library's admin (they can reset for you)
  • Or email hello@tryshelfwise.com if you're a library admin yourself

Signed-out everywhere

After a password change, you're signed out on all devices and need to sign in again with the new password.
