Sign in to your Shelfwise library

Shelfwise accounts are scoped to a specific library. Knowing which URL to sign in at saves a lot of confusion.

Patrons and staff: sign in at your library's subdomain

If your library is "Maple Street Library" with the subdomain "maple", sign in at:

• https://maple.tryshelfwise.com/auth/login

Patrons, librarians, and admins all sign in here. The login form looks the same for everyone — your role determines what you see after signing in.

The marketing site (tryshelfwise.com)

The apex domain tryshelfwise.com is the public marketing site. Signing in there sends you to either:

• The signup flow (if you don't have a tenant yet)
• The platform console (if you're a super_admin)

If you accidentally try to log in at tryshelfwise.com instead of your library's subdomain, we'll redirect you. To avoid the round-trip, bookmark your library's actual URL.

"Wrong library" error

If you try to sign in with an account that belongs to a different Shelfwise library, you'll see:

• "That account is registered with a different library. Sign in on that library's site."

Each account belongs to one tenant. To use Shelfwise at two different libraries, you need two accounts with different email addresses.

Forgot password?

Click "Forgot password" on the login page. We'll email you a reset link valid for 1 hour.

Magic links vs passwords

Both work. Magic links (one-click email login) are good when you don't want to remember another password. Passwords are good when you sign in often. Choose either on the login page.
