Featured Book of the Month
Setting one, the hero render, and swapping it out.
Feature one book prominently as the Book of the Month on your library homepage.
Setting one
Settings → Appearance → Book of the Month → search for and select a book.
Where it appears
The hero panel on your homepage splits in two when a Book of the Month is set:
- Left: standard library hero (logo, name, blurb, browse button)
- Right: a striking BotM card with the cover, title, author, blurb, and a "Place a hold" button
Swapping it out
Settings → Appearance → Book of the Month → change the selection. The change shows on the homepage immediately.
Removing it
Settings → Appearance → Book of the Month → "Remove". The hero panel becomes single-column again.
When to feature
Most libraries change the BotM monthly — set a reminder. Some pick one that matches the season (a Christmas book in December, a graduation gift in spring).
Book is unavailable?
If your BotM has zero copies available, the card still appears — patrons see the cover and description and can place a hold to join the queue.
Brand colour
The BotM card uses your brand colour for the cover panel and accents. If you change your brand colour, the BotM updates automatically.
